The Government of Cameroon has refuted allegations of an “alleged” killing of a good number of civilians in the locality of Ngarbuh in Ndu, Donga Mantung Division of the North West region of Cameroon by armed separatists and Government securtiy forces Friday February 14, 2020.

The reaction is contained in a release issued this Monday by the Minister Delegate in Charge of Defence, Joseph Beti Assomo.

In the release, the Minister discloses that the incident was the consequence of current military operations aimed at ensuring security in the region.

Besides that, the release indicates that five persons including one woman and four children died in the course.
