The Minister of Communication, spokesperson of the Government, Rene Emmanuel Sadi has maintained defense Minister’s say that only five civilians including a woman and four children lost their lives during the “unfortunate incident” that happened Friday February 14 in Ngarbuh, Donga Mantung Division of the North West region.

He was speaking yesterday in Yaounde in a press briefing where he refuted allegations against members of Cameroon defense forces accused of having killed at least twenty people in the village.

An act that has been condemned by many in and abroad. The UN which is amongst those maintaining that at lleast twenty people including women and children died has demanded an urgent and impartial investigation to be conducted for the perpetrators to be punished.
