The Governor of the Centre region, Naseri Paul Bea has reportedly shut down the Tabernacle of freedom church situated in the Mendong neighbourhood in Yaounde after it was alleged that the pastor of the church, Ngoa Atangana stopped children from sitting the Brevet d’etudes du premier cycle, BEPC.

According to sources, the students described the wearing of face masks and washing of hands as devilish as preached to them by their pastor.

Governor Naseri Paul Bea is said to have promised severe sanctions on the pastor accused of fanning anti-government policies.
