Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea expected to sign a cooperation agreement on the joint coordination of defence and cross border securituy operations.

The Minister Delegate at the Presidency in Charge of Defence Joseph Beti Assomo accompanied by Lejeune Mbella Mbella, Minister of External Relations and Lt Gen Rene Claude Meka Chief of Defence staff will this Monday July 20 lead a delagtaion to Malabo in Equaltorial Guninea to finalise the consultations with the latter and sign the cooperation agreement.

The signing comes as a follow-up of the consultation meeting of the Ministers of Defence of both countries that held in Yaounde on the 29 and 30th of June 2020.
