Forces of law and order have forcefully taken away the corpse of Maurice Tchakounte from the sight of his colleagues who wanted to give him academic honours at the Advanced Teachers Training College, ENS after his body was removed from the mortuary this Thursday morning.
The police used tear gas and water to disperse the thousands of teachers who turned out to pay a last respect to their colleague who died in the line of duty.
Maurice Tchakounte was stabbed to death by one of his students on January 14, 2020 during a mathematics lesson at the Lycee Classique de Nkolbisson.
