As Cameroon battles to curb the rapid spread of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic, the town of Kribi in the South region of the country now has to couple with a cholera outbreak as well.

Four persons have been confirmed dead of the waterborne disease and forty-two others infected.

The cases were identified recently in a locality of the Kribi II subdivision.
