Annie Noelle Bahounoui Batende is the new President of the Special Criminal Court.

She was appointed Monday August 10 by Presidential degree, following the holding of the Higher Judicial Council under the chair of the Head of State, Paul Biya.

Annie Noelle Batende replaces at that position, Emmanuel Njere, appointed to another office.
