At least five persons are said to have died and several others wounded in a road accident which occurred Wednesday night at Bomono, a locality on the outskirts of the west entrance into the city of Douala, Littoral Region of Cameroon.

Local sources say the accident resulted from a head-on collision between a 30-seater bus heading into the city and a lorry plying the National road No6 from Douala.
