The Ministry of finance has urged Cameroonians to beware of fraudsters when conducting their banking operations.

According to Minister Louis Paul Motaze, unscrupulous individuals have devised new strategies to withdraw money from other people’s bank accounts without leaving any evidence.

Individuals have been reminded to call the toll free number 8202 for victims of such cyber-crime.

People are advised not to communicate their bank pin codes with any one and to type the pin discretely in case of money withdrawal.
