Few hours after the brutal assassination of the Mayor of Mamfe, Prisley Ojong, the Chief of the Bakebe TELECENTER, a village in Upper Bayang Subdivision in the Manyu Division South West region of Cameroon is said to have been murdered by unidentified gunmen Sunday May 10, 2020.

The United Socialist Democratic Party has strongly condemned both killings, calling on Non State Armed Groups operating in the region and the Government to nsure the protection of lives.
