Cameroon has lost one of its lionesses in a zoo situated in the capital city Yaounde, officials have said.

According to a communiqué signed by the Regional Delegate of Forestry and Wildlife for the Centre region, Tsangue Gisele, the lioness died of a parvo-virus infection at the Mvog-Betsi zoological garden.
