The 2020 African Caucaus meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund opens this Thursday in Yaounde with the objective of outlining strategies to improve the continent’s economies hard-hit by the Coronavirus pandemic.

The meeting will hold virtually, under the chairmanship of Cameroon’s Minister of the Economy, Planing and Regional Development Alamine Ousmane Mey who is also cheirman of the Bretton woods instituttion.

The meeting will bring together Governors of the African continent representatives of the Bretton woods Constitution.
