Thirty-five school-going teenagers are reported to have gotten pregnant during the period of confinement imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic in Mbe, a locality in the Vina Division, Adamawa region of Cameroon.

Speaking to colleagues of the CRTV, the girls said during the confinement, they spent most of their time with their boyfriends, reason why they gor pregnant.

Last week, the girls received assistance from Prof Uphie Chinje Melo, rector of the University of Ngaoundere.
