Three persons are reported to have lost their lives in a landslide which occurred in Nguti, a locality in the Koupe Manengouba Division, South West region of Cameroon following heavy rainfalls in that part of the country.

Apart from the deaths, the landslide is said to have caused distress in ten other villages in the Division.

The population has called on the Government and people of good will to come to their rescue.
