The National Gendarmerie has dispatched 280 personnel as part of Cameroons Contingent under the United Nations Multidimensional Integration and Stabilization Mission, to the Central African Republic MINUSCA.

The Gendarmes who have completed a three months pre- deployment training course constitute part of the seventh contingent of Cameroons security and defense forces who are at the disposal of the MINUSCA.

They were given firm instructions by hierarchy to be disciplined and raise the country’s flag high.
