Fifteen workers are reported to have been kidnaped by unidentified gunmen in Ekok, a locality in the South West region of Cameroon.

Reports say some of the gunmen are from Nigeria.

They are said to have demanded the sum of FCFA 5 million to secure the release of the workers.
