Internally displaced persons in the Buea municipality have received items from the Buea council that will help sustain them throughout this festive season.

The relief was handed on Tuesday December 25 as the internally displaced persons had what to smile over at Christmas. However several voices have been raised to criticise the way the operation accusing ome council staff of diverting relief meant for the IDPs to their personal pockets. The Council is yet to make any comment on this.
