Scores of students in the University of Bamenda are using social media to decry atrocities which impede school activities in the country’s English speaking regions.

Using Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and Instagram, the students are displaying messages which advocate for a return to normalcy in the regions so students can go back to school.

Some of the messages such as Education is a right…Students have no voice…We want to go to school but we don’t want to die…stop violence…Give dialogue a chance…Our hearts bleed…,” are coming after schools in the regions have suffered series of attacks in crossfire in the on-going conflict in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon.
