Steven Mukwala’s goal against Cameroon helped Uganda Hippos to defeat Cameroon in the 2019 TOTAL U-20 Cup of Nations qualifiers in Kampala.
The Vipers striker struck in the 44th minute of the game from an assist by left back Robert Kitabalwa at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo in the first leg of the second round.
The two sides will meet again in the return leg on May 18.
The Hippos eliminated South Sudan 8-1 on aggregate in the previous round to reach this stage, while Cameroon got a bye.
