The Confederation of African Football Caf has release its list of nominees for the 2019 CAF Awards with seven Cameroonians shortlisted for some of the distinctions.

Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene and Nchout Njoya Ajara are shortlisted in the cathegory of women’s player of the year.

Keeper Andree Onana and forward Eric Maxim Choupo Moting are shortlisted in the cathegory of African player of the year.

Steve Regie Mvoue competes for the best youth player of the year and indomitable lionesses coach Alain Djeumfa competes for the women’s coach of the year.

The last Cameroonian is Franck Kom who competes for the best African interclubs player of the year.

Cameroon’s women’s football team is also in contention for the best women national sight.
