The case between former Minister of Culture Ama Tutu Muna against her brother Akere Muna on their late father’s succession has been adjourned to July 10.
The case opened in Yaounde on Tuesday morning on the same day the family was celebrating the 35 anniversary of the passing away of their mother.
The Yaounde court of First Instance was full to capacity as lawyers throng in from both sides to defend their clients in this high-profile case that equally drew a mammoth crowd.
Akere’s camp strongly denied accusations their client had falsified Ama Tutu Muna’s signature in the succession document.
After over three hours of debate between both parties, the judge had no option but to adjourn the case to July 10.
