Faced with the increase in the number of contaminations, the government adopted on Monday a series of restrictive measures that will come into force from Friday 23 July.Among the measures was the extension of the curfew from 11pm to 4.30am, with an exemption for people working in vital sectors or in urgent cases, according to a statement from the executive.

Inter-city travels are banned except for those who have been vaccinated or have a permit issued by the local authorities.

Similarly, funerals and wedding ceremonies are once again banned. However, the executive allows a limited number of people to participate in a funeral ceremony. At the same time, the capacity of restaurants and cafés is limited to 50 percent.

In addition, only 50 people may take part in a public gathering. A permit from the authorities is required if the number of participants exceeds 50.
