Morocco, on Monday, crossed the mark of 20 million people primo-vaccinated, the Ministry of Health has announced in its daily bulletin.Thus, the number of people who received the first dose of anti-Covid vaccines reached 20,154,375, while 16,667,989 had their two doses, according to the same daily bulletin.

At present, a total of 917 new cases of coronavirus infection and 4,451 recoveries have been recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the balance to 905,564 cases of infection since the first case was reported in Morocco in March 2020, while recoveries have risen to 862,106, representing a recovery rate of 95.2 percent.

As for deaths, their total number reached 13,618 (lethality 1.5 percent), with 72 new cases registered.

In total, Morocco has 29,840 active cases, while severe or critical cases have reached 1,764, including 917 placed under artificial respiration. In addition, the occupancy rate of  recovery from intensive care beds is 33.7 percent.
