Cameroon has deployed new contingents to Central Africa Republic, CAR, under the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Mission,MINUSCA, framework.

According to online reports, the new members made up of 295 gendarmes including 4 doctors, will be sent to CAR in the weeks ahead.

To be up to the United Nations standards, the government of Cameroon is ensuring a well grounded training program for the new members at the Awae Law Enforcement Training Center, in the outskirts of Yaounde.

The new Cameroonian recruits, also the fifth batch, have been advised to be of good behavior and uplift their country’s image.
