A three-day seminar to enhance the capacities of magistrates and law enforcement officers in the West Region of Cameroon to prosecute and adjudicate cybercrime and make use of electronic evidence is underway in Bafoussam.

The seminar that kicked off on Wednesday is organised by the National Agency for Information and Communication Technologies, Antic and placed under the auspices of the President of the Court of Appeal for the West Region, Francios Xavier Mbono.

Over 100 magistrates and judicial police officers are taking part in the seminar which seeks to beef up their knowledge in investigating, prosecuting and adjudicating cyber crime.

Opening the seminar on Wednesday, the Director General of Antic Dr. Ebot Ebot Enaw reassured participants that his organisation is ready to cooperate and collaborate to collobrate with them in the search of electronic evidence stored up in computers.
