The third edition of the annual Israel-Cameroon Innovation & Entrepreneurship Seminar was launched on Monday November 19 at the Yaounde Chamber of Commerce.

The seminar is organised by the Israeli Embassy in partnership with the International Organisation for Migration, IOM and UNICEF with about 100 young Cameroonian entrepreneurs taking part.

The Israeli Embassy in Cameroon says the seminar has a vision to position knowledge sharing and capacity
building in the areas of Hit-tech and innovation as key aspects of the bilateral cooperation between Israel and Cameroon.

Over 100 participants have been drawn from Cameroon with special attention paid to ensure a significant participation of female entrepreneurs.

Participants will get a chance to meet with and leaarn fromm successful Cameroonian entrepreneurs and learn from their experience, acquire skills on how to valuate and grow their businesses, get greater awareness of business opportunities amongst others.

The major innovation at this year’s seminar will be a A High-tech Hub which will serve as an exhibition space for some selected start-ups (10) from the two previous editions to expose their products and services. As well as seminars partners and sponsors. The High-tech Hub will be opened to visitors during the four-day seminar.
