Government has announced plans to embark on an official physical head count for civil servants. The head count to run from April to June 2018, going by Finance Minister, Louis Paul Motaze will help rationalize the country’s salary expenses.

In his release, Minister Motaze stated that all the civil servants who are irregular in the signing of the pay slip because of either an unjustified absence, a resignation or unreported death will be identified and removed from the state’s payroll.

Physical head count operations were instituted in the country by President Biya as way to rid administration off unscrupulous workers.

It will be carried out throughout the national territory.
