Two competitive entrance examinations for the special recruitment of 50 magistrates and 30 court registrars of English expression have been launched at the Advanced School of Administration and Magistracy,ENAM.

According to a press release signed by Michel Ange Angouing, minister of public service and administrative reforms, the competitive entrance exams is against the 2017/2018 academic year. The release states that the written part of the examination shall be only in the English language and the exams will be written in four of the ten regions notably Centre, North, North West and South West.

While the government’s decision to launch theses exams has been hailed by some elites from English speaking Cameroon, other observers still hold that the government  still needs do more to appease English speaking Cameroonians. According to the latter group, the crisis rocking Anglophone Cameroon is far from over if government does not engage in genuine dialogue.

Potential examiners have been referred to the notice board of the Ministry and regional delegations and the website of the Ministry of Public Service for details.
