The government of Cameroon has created two new technical colleges in the North West and South West Regions of the country.

A decree signed by Prime Minister Philemon Yang creates the Government Technical College Bimbia in the Limbe III sub division in the South West Region and the Government Technical College Kinsejam in Jakiri subdivision, Bui deivision of the North West Region.

These schools were created alongside two other technical schools in the Far North and West Regions. It is however not clear if they will go operational this coming academic year but the decree creating the schools states the task is left to the Minister of Secondary Education.

The Prime Minister had earlier this year signed a decree creating three technical schools in the two English-speaking regions of Cameroon.
