Starde Renard of Melong succeeds to Eding Sport of la Lekie by beating AS FAP three goals to two in the final of the 2019 cup of Cameroon disputed yesterday at the Yaounde Omnisport Stadium.

The boys of Melong succeeded to overtake AS FAP thanks to a brace from Jules Tchio, crowned man of the match and a third goal from Herve Eloundou few minutes to the end of the encounter.

They received the prestigious trophy from the Prime Minister Head of Government Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute who presided over the ceremony for the very first time.

It was equally a special occasion as Dion Ngute awarded prizes to winners of collective and single sports disciplines to mark the end of the 2019 sports season.

Jules Tchio crowned match of the match will receive his prize in an official ceremony to take place today at Fecafoot headquarters.
