At least five buses belonging to the Mondial tansport agency were last night burnt by unknown men, sources have confirmed.
The buses were set ablaze just around midnight by unknown men before disappearing from the scene, residents confimed.
Two of the buses were completely burnt while the fire was put off from consuming the other three by locals who immediately rushed for recue.
It is still a mystery how the incident took place given the fact that Bamenda in under curfew with movement banned from 9pm to 5am.
A note was left on the scene of the crime ordering the proprietor of the agency to “comply” or face further ramifications.
This is the second incident of transport agencies burnt in Bamenda in under a month after unknown men equally set fire on buses belonging to the Moghamo bus agency.
