The second edition of the Cameroon international film festival, CAMIFF, has come and gone. The grand event which took place in Buea, chief town of the South West region, under the patronage of the Minister of culture, gave visibility to many Cameroonian films and actors.
Cameroonian actress such as Nsang Dilong, Ruth Nkweti and a host of many other filmmakers could be seen throughout the one week event exchanging with film lovers and content buyers across Africa. Ace Nollywood actor and CAMIFF ambassador, Ramsey Nouah, who equally attended the event used the forum to share his experience to boost young talents.
CAMIFF is an initiative of Agbor Gilbert, a Cameroonian filmmaker, with the aim of promoting Cameroonian film industry through workshops with international filmmakers, creating partnerships and awarding excellence in Cameroon and International film.
The highlight in this year’s edition was the CAMIFF award night which took place on April 29th, with the award of some best 2017 films.
