The Governor of the North West Region, Adolphe Lele L’Afrique, has called on security officials in the region to be on red alert as the end of year approaches.

Governor Lele L’Afrique made the call during a recent security meeting to evaluate the crisis situation in the region. He admitted that the spiral of violence, kidnappings and arson attacks in the region is alarming and called on the population to rally behind the security officers so the region can go back to normalcy.

While exhorting all those who have fled their homes to return, the Governor said everyone has to ensure that the regain its peaceful state.

The Governor used the meeting to donate the Head of State car gifts to Divisional officers which he says will facilitate work. All officers going by reports presented a vivid state on the security situation in their various localities.
