Elite One : YOSA picks up first victory away at Stade Renard

Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda recorded their first victory of the season on Sunday after picking up a one nil away victory at Stade Renard in Melong.

With the victory, YOSA becomes the first team to defeat Stade Melong on their home patch since they ascended to the Elite One.

The win also send the Academicians from Bamenda into the top half of the table after two goalless draws in their first games.

In the other encounters, Union of Douala are still searching for their fist win of the season after recording a goalless draw away to Aigle of Dschang.

Astres of Douala wefre held at home to a 1-1 draw by league leaders Feutcheu FC of Bandjoun while Yaounde II edged Unisport of Bafang by a goal to nil.

AS Fortuna picked up their first points and victory of the season with a 2-1 victory over UMS Loum while Fovu of Baham recorded a similar victory away at Dragon of Yaounde to go joint top of the table with Feutcheu FC.

Cotonsport of Garoua and APEJES of Mfou shared the spoils in an eight-goal thriller in Coton’s first home game of the season while Bamboutos of Mbouda and Colombe of Dja and Lobo fired blanks all the way.

The game between New Stars and Eding Sport has been postponed to a later date due to both teams involvement in the Caf competitions.
