Elections Cameroon Deputy Director General, Abdoul Karimo has denied all clams put forth by opposition candidates of gross irregularities at the just ended presidential poll.

Speaking at the constitutional council hearing today, Karimou, said the Presidential Election is national and cannot be divided.

To him, Elecam needs to be praised because the elections body braved the odds to organise the election in the North West and South West regions despite attacks on their staff and materials.

Reacting to Agbor Balla and Ikome Ngongi arguments on the anglophone crisis, Abdoul Karimou said the Anglophone Crisis is not the topic of discussion here at the Constitutional Council…”the subject matter here is the election and the law not what is happening in the North West and South West regions…” Abdoul Karimou, said.

“Elecam is responsible for election operations and Elecam has done it’s job well.”
