International Cameroonian footballer Yannick Ndjeng has been expelled from the intermediate lions’ squad currently playing the 6th edition of the African Nations Football Championship CHAN over gross indiscipline.

A statement issued by the Cameroon Football Federation, Fecafoot indicates that the 30-year-old forward was expelled after he insulted the intermediate lions’ technical staff during the Cameroon/Morocco CHAN semi-final clash that saw the latter thrash the former four goals to nothing.

Not happy with his replacement at a time when Morocco was leading with two goals, Yannick Ndjeng reportedly insulted the staff members, calling them names.

The scene was shot and the image went viral in less than no time.

The player was excluded at the end of the game that was played at the Limbe stadium in the South West region yesterday February 3.

On instructions of the coach, Martin Ndtoungou Mpile, Yannick Ndjeng left the crew this Thursday morning.

He will thus not be part of the squad that will face Guinea next Saturday at the Reunification stadium in Bepanda, Douala for the third place in the competition.
