The Cameroon Railway Corporation has appointed Frenchman Pascal Miny as its new General Manager, the enterprise has said in a communique.

At the end of the company’s ordinary session of the board meeting last weekend he was appointed to replace his compatriot Jean Pierre Morel.

Before his appointment at Camrail, Pascal Miny served as General Manager of a minig company in Ogoué, Gabon, then head of Knewledge Management Leader, in charge of railway at the mining branch of French company Eramet.

A subsidiary of the Bolloré group, which controls  77.4% of the capital, Camrail has been a Cameroonian railway concession holder since January 1999 in the areas of technical and commercial operation, maintenance, development and management of infrastructure as well as current management.
