Two officials at the Ministry of Public Health have been suspended for three months each after they were found guilty of acts of corruption and racketeering.
According to a release signed by the Minister of Public Health, Malachie Manaouda, Basilice Bilounga and Marcelin Seme Bindzi were suspended after complaints from users and subsequent conclusion of an investigation which showed they were involved in acts of corruption.
During their suspension period, the two accused will not be entitled to any salary or allowance until they resume work, the Minister of Public Health Dr Malachie Manaouda said in a communiqué.
