The Cameroon military women’s football team have failed to travel to Texas in the United States of America where they were supposed to take part in the 2018 military women’s football championships.
Sources say the team failed to travel to the United States of America after the entire delegation was denied visas by the Embassy of the United States in Cameroon though no official statement has been issued.
The Lionesses were lodged in Group B of the competition alongside Germany, Brazil, France as well Bahrain who they were supposed to face in their first game on Friday.
However, organisers of the competition have immediately wiped off Cameroon’s name from the competition and group B now hosts only four teams as opposed to five in group A of the competition.
