Reports say the Communication Boss, is currently admitted at the Yaounde Central hospital.

Issa Tchiroma Bakary, who is also the Leader of the National Salvation Front Party, was returning from his one week stay in Garoua, Chief town of the Northern region ,when he suddenly took ill.

In a statement released today, by Sone Nsoga, a member of Tchiroma’s party, the Communication Minister is victim of “food poisoning”. “His vital are not harmed an he does not require any evacuation. Tchiroma is in excellent hands”, part of the release read.

Sone Nsoga’s statement, puts to rest rumors of a looming evacuation for the Minister whom they claim was purportedly under critical conditions.  It should be recalled that in July 2017, a similar rumor which alleged that Minister Issa Tchiroma had left Cameroon to seek treatment in Europe for several weeks, went viral on social media.  The rumors was equally debunked by Tchiroma’s collaborators afterwards,  stating that the Minister of Communication was in Europe for a mission.
