The Head of State, Paul Biya has announced the creation of three State Universities .

Paul Biya made the announcement on Friday, December 31 during his traditional end of year message to the nation.

Addressing tthe nation, Paul Biya announced the creation of State Universities in the East, South and North Régions.

The Head of State saluted Cameroonians for their resilience and called on them to all mobilise ahead of the start of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

0n the Coronavirus pandemic, Paul Biya called on Cameroonians to continue respecting the preventive measures in order to stop the spread of the virus. He urged Cameroonians to shun social media rumours and go for vaccination.

Paul Biya took time out to condemn the attack at the Government Bilingual High School Ekondo Titi that led to the death of students and a teacher.

He sstressed perpetrators of the act and other hideous crimes will be tracked down and brought to book.

For this to be possible, Paul Biya called on Cameroonians to collaborate with the defence and security forces to bring perpetrators of these crimes to book.
