Most of the newly appointed Divisional Officers in the North West and South West Regions were installed into their respective functions on Tuesday, sources have confirmed.

The newly appointed Divisional Officers of Tinto, Alo, Upper Bayang, Dikome Balue, in the South West Region and Njinikom, Misaje and Ako were all installed on Tuesday in a subdued atmosphere.

The ceremonies that took place in their various localities and presided over by the various Senior Divisional Officers were low key due to the ongoing crisis in that part of the country.

They were all appointed last week by the Head of State who also sacked Divisional Officers who deserted their duty stations as the crisis deepens in that part of the country.
