Four young boys are currently under detention in Douala after they were arrested in possession of human bones.

According to Njike, Senior Officer of the Second Gendarmerie Region in Douala, they were arrested in their attempts to sell the bones at the sum of FCFA 15 million.

He said they were alerted by a good Samaritan who had come in contact with the said bone traffickers who were trying to find a buyer.

Investigations show the bones were that of a man who had died three years ago and had been buried in Kouoptamo in the Noun Division before his tomb was desecrated by the young men who are currently being detained while further investigations continue to track other members of the gang who are said to be on the run.
