The Television station has beeen operating unpertubed, one week after the National Communication Council suspended it for one month.

The owner of the Anecdote group Jean Pierre Amougou Belinga had instead threatened to shut down all his businesses in Cameroon describing the NCC’s decision as particularly targetting him.

However, he backpedalled on his decision on Thursday December 27, saying he would continue informing Cameroonians through his various media organs.

“We will continue to inform, educate and entertain cameroonians,”Jean Pierre Amougou Belinga said in a communiqué.

“We will boost our human, material and financial resources to better serve the public because we are in a patriotique battle to defend the legal and legitimate institutions of the republic,”he said.

It should be recalled that the National Communication Council last week suspended Vision 4 Television for announcing the “death” of Gabonese Pressident Ali Bongo.

Journalist Ernest Obama was suspended for one month while presenter Nadine Patricia and owner Jean Pierre Amougou Belinga were both warned.
