The Divisional Officer of Tiko sub division has lifted the ban on movement in his sub division with immediate effect.

A communiqué signed by the Divisional Officer lifts the ban and orders the Forces of Law and Order to ensure the implimentation of the decision.

Last week, the Divisional Officer of Tiko signed an order restricting movement in the subdivision due to the rising insecurity in the area.

This followed events in Tiko where armed men chopped off the fingers of some workers in the CDC plantations then followed by another separate incident where a teacher was severely injured by unidentified armed men.
