It will be a tense day in some cities across the country with the election of City Mayors taking centre stage.

At the end of today, there will be new faces in some City Councils notably in Yaounde where Gilbert Tsimi Evouna is expected to give way for a new city mayor who will be elected today.

It is the same sceneraio in Douala where a new city mayor is expected by te end of the day to replace Fritz Ntone Ntone. Kumba is not left out as the battle for the position has built momentum and become fierce as the days go by.

In total, there will be the election of ten city mayors to add to those who were elected last week. It should be recalled that Andrew Motanga Mojimba was elected pioneer city mayor of Limbe last week same as Paul Achombang for Bamenda who replaced Vincent Ndumu.

In total, there will be the election of City Mayors in ten cities namely; Douala, Nkongsamba, Yaoundé, Ngaoundéré, Maroua, Garoua, Bertoua, Ebolowa, Kribi and Kumba.
