The Head of State Paul Biya has ordered for a state funeral to be accorded to the kformer Mayor of Bana and Business magnet Joseph Kadji Defosso who passed away last month.

The mortal remains of the deceased arrived Cameroon today where it was taken to his company UCB for a brief stop before withdrawn from the public.

A funeral mass has been scheduled at the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral in Douala before a wake-keep at his  Bonanjo residence.

Another wake-keep will take place at his residence in Bana, West Region of Cameroon on Friday ahead of burial which would take place on Saturday in strict family confines.

According to a note signed by the Director of the Civil Cabinet at the Presidency, the Head of State will be represented by the President of the Senate Marcel Niat Njifenji.
