Popular makossa singer Longkana Ango Simon aka Longue Longue has pleaded with the Head of State Paul Biya to intervene for his passport to be released.
Speaking on Equinoxe Television on Sunday, Longue Longue confirmed his passport had been seized while he was in detention recently.
He said he could not travel to Canada where he had to honour business invitations which will enable him raise money for his family.
Apologising to the Head of State once more, the singer pleaded for his passport to be released to enable him resume his activities abroad.
Longue Longue was recently detained in Douala by security forces after he said Maurice Kamto had won the October 7 Presidential election.
