The second in command to the chief of the Nso, Bui Division of the North West region was on Wednesday April 24 kidnapped by suspected separatist fighters, sources have confirmed.

According to sources, Shufai Big Ndzendzev, second in command to Fon Semh Mbinglo III was kidnapped in Kumbo on his way back from Shishong Catholic Hospital where he had gone for medical check-up.

It is not yet certain who actually took him away and why, but reports say it is not the first time Shufai Big Ndzendzev is being kidnapped.

Early this year, he was kidnapped alongside the Nso Fon, before being released subsequently.

In another attempt to flee from the Nso Land, he was again taken away by gun men in Jakiri.
