The former Director General of CRTV and one time Minister Delegate at the Minister of Communication, Prof Gervais Mendo Ze has begun his journey to eternity.

The remains of the late Professor of Linguistics were coffined at the mortuary of the Yaounde Central Hospital this Friday April 23 in the presence of some Government officials including Higher Education boss Prof Jacques Fame Ndongo and CRTV’s Director General, Charles Ndongo.

The mass was officiated by the Archbishop of Yaounde, His Grace Jean Mbarga who to console the bereaved told them death leads to another dimension of life – resurrection.

At the end, the corpse left straight for Sangmelima in the Dja and Elobo Diviion, Centre region where the remains of the Prof will be laid to rest tomorrow Saturday April 24.

He died last April 9 at the age of 76 after suffering from a prolonged illness.
